There was visible tension in the room after what Zyair had said. Even Kassia appeared rather surprised by his statement but her expression quickly reverted back to her regular stern look.
This was because what he had said was akin to treason. Although Zyair was already in open rebellion, saying it right to their face was more than an insult.
The other continents did practice something similar and although they had no leader they did know who was regarded as one. In the plain truth his proposal wasn't entirely bad.
But the other continents were themselves and the phantom continent was the phantom continent. What worked for the others wouldn't necessarily work here.
And besides that, Chari would never give up rulership of all five kingdoms.
