There was no slowing down. Luck had achieved a good amount of progress the other day and felt a little closer to taking the next leap in his sword style as well as his understanding of staggered dance but it was not enough for him.
He still needed more…
He was badly banged up in his clash with the skrills, his injuries so bad that he couldn't just shove them off.
Blood dripped down the floor wherever he stepped. His body was a mess and his mind was a haze as he walked back towards the academy.
He could not just go home and smear his bed in blood, hoping to wake up as good as new the next day. Not only could the injuries get even worse, there was a chance of his wounds getting infected.
It would be a pain but he had no choice, he had to go to the hospital…
