Layla dashed to the side as dozens of blades followed her, swiftly approaching from her back. She pushed her legs to move faster as she navigated her way through some of the park swings.
A couple of blades were embedded in their frames but it was not enough to remove half of them from her trail.
She quickly spun to face the approaching tide. A kunai, mere inches away from her face.
Layla swung her weapon, moving the narrow blade in the air with breathtaking speed. One by one Kunais were knocked out of the air but that didn't mean they were out of the equation because each kunai she knocked down would simply ascend into the air once again to join the fray.
It was a hopeless effort.
Having nowhere to hide and the blades being fast enough to catch up to her tired body in seconds Layla stood her ground deflecting the multitude of blades. New injuries were slowly piling atop the older ones, her muscles were burning and her injuries dripped blood.
