In his sixty-third year, Heaven-Defying passed away, and Sun Wukong took his Three Souls and Seven Spirits to Hell for reincarnation. Later, he guided him out at the age of sixteen, sending him back to the Lion Camel Kingdom to be an Emperor once again.
Tathagata observed all that Sun Wukong did but did not intervene, confident that this brash monkey's actions could not escape his palm.
