Chi Di Shennong appeared as an old man with white hair and a white beard, his gaze warm and gentle, lacking the imposing presence of an emperor, yet he conveyed a feeling of compassion for the world that inexplicably settled the hearts of those around him.
Although Sun Wukong was not of the Human Race, he had heard of the sage-like deeds of this saintly figure and looked upon Shennong with a hint of respect.
"Greetings to Chi Di."
Sun Wukong bowed with clasped hands.
Shennong smiled faintly and said, "The Great Saint is courteous."
After the formal greeting, Shennong remained silent and gestured for the Yellow Emperor to speak.
Now, the Yellow Emperor said, "Great Saint, regarding the matter you spoke of, Shennong and I have already discussed it in detail."
Sun Wukong's spirits lifted instantly and he asked, "How have the two emperors chosen to proceed?"
