Having waited for quite some time, Tiger-Subduing Arhat grew puzzled as to why Sun Wukong had yet to transform back.
He frowned, suddenly gripped by an unpleasant premonition.
A Bodhisattva, equally alarmed, could not help but ask, "Could it actually be the Buddha?"
Swallowing nervously, Tiger-Subduing Arhat said with some tension, "Surely not? If it were truly the Buddha, why wouldn't he have his magic artifacts with him?"
Arhat Dragon-Subduing became anxious as well.
He had a sudden feeling that he might have been tricked by Tiger-Subduing Arhat.
It was very likely that the person before them was not Sun Wukong in disguise, but the real Maitreya Buddha.
"Looking at Maitreya Buddha, he's so gravely injured that it's possible his artifacts were destroyed. It's normal for him not to bring any back."
That's what Arhat Dragon-Subduing deduced.
Hearing this, Tiger-Subduing Arhat also considered this possibility.
