"Shut up."
Sandalwood Merit Buddha chided.
The Buddhist monks immediately closed their mouths.
He, with a dignified and holy aura enveloping him, said in a deep voice, "How can monks harbor aggressive and competitive spirits, so easily giving way to anger? With such a mentality, how can you be considered true monks?"
Upon hearing his words, the monks immediately showed expressions of shame.
They bowed their heads, listening to Sandalwood Merit Buddha's reprimand.
"Immortal Maiden and I have come here to slay demons and save the living beings. How can we start fighting amongst ourselves over a few words? Would that not make the demons laugh at us?"
Sandalwood Merit Buddha said earnestly.
All those present were dumbfounded.
Just a moment ago, you said you wanted to teach others a lesson, and now you're the one who doesn't want to take action?
Everything is up to you to say, leaving nothing for others to voice.
