The Mountains and Rivers Sheji Chart can't be blown open from the inside. Even the Heavenly Dao Saint, attempting to escape, would need a Supreme Treasure and over a year to possibly create an opening in the Primeval world within and flee. However, attacking it from the outside makes it much easier to create an opening.
Since the Jade Emperor had used the Mountains and Rivers Sheji Chart to trap Erlang God Yang Jian among others, there's no way he could easily retract it. Erlang God Yang Jian and Nezha the Third Prince exchanged glances, simultaneously activated their Cloning Divine Powers, and each created a clone that circumvented the Mountains and Rivers Sheji Chart and charged towards the Jade Emperor. They aimed to entangle the Jade Emperor, preventing him from retrieving the Mountains and Rivers Sheji Chart.
