The Jade Emperor, startled, turned around and rushed toward the Formation Eye. He had kept a distance earlier, fearing that engaging in combat might affect the Formation Eye, but now he wished he could slap himself for leaving, for had he not given this demon monkey the opportunity to take advantage?
As he hurried towards the Formation Eye, the Jade Emperor also activated the Investiture of the Gods, trying to harness its power to withstand Wukong's attacks, only to see Wukong forming multiple Dharma Seals with his hands and striking toward the Investiture of the Gods and the God Beating Whip within the Formation Eye.
