In the deserted river of Heavenly Dao, a light appeared, revealing the figure of a person—it was Sun Wukong.
"Is this... the Heavenly River? How has Old Sun come back here again?"
Sun Wukong looked around in surprise, quickly recognizing the place. Wasn't this the very river where his Soul's True Spirit had stayed for many years? How had he returned to this river of Heavenly Dao?
"Could it be that Old Sun is dead?"
This thought flashed through Sun Wukong's mind and was immediately cast away with force. Impossible! No way! He had only battled the Ran Deng Buddha, and although their final blow and the clashing of domain powers hadn't caused any severe injury, he had fallen unconscious due to complete exhaustion of his strength. Death was still far off!
