With the Sword of Slaying Immortal in hand, Ran Deng Buddha faced Sun Wukong's attacks without a hint of panic. He quivered the sword in his hand, and stream after stream of sword qi flew out, forming a thick layer of sword armor around his body. The Sword of Slaying Immortal blocked the Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod's bombardment, and the Ruyi Silver-Hooped Rod also struck Ran Deng Buddha's sword armor, but it suddenly felt a tremendous rebound force emerging from the sword armor, pushing the clone back two steps.
Ran Deng Buddha was also thrown backwards by the strike from the Ruyi Silver-Hooped Rod, but steadied himself after a distance; however, the place hit did not seem to be wounded at all—the destructive power of the Ruyi Silver-Hooped Rod was completely blocked by the sword armor formed by the sword qi of the Sword of Slaying Immortal.
