In the City of Untimely Deaths, atop the vast Senluo Hall, the Yama Heavenly Son sat solemnly on his throne. On either side beneath him, including King Qin Guang and Yama King, the Ten Yama Kings knelt with their heads bowed low, not daring to breathe aloud.
As the rulers of the Netherworld, the Ten Yama Kings usually held positions of high authority, and even when meeting with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, they only paid their respects as juniors. But at this moment, they were as humble as servants, feeling deep reverence towards the Yama Heavenly Son seated on the throne, not daring to make a single move.
