The supreme commander at the center of the spiral nebula believed that the life form, entirely composed of light, was a temporary creation by the Great Harmony of Red and therefore could not control all properties of light.
Even so, the supreme commander had to admit that it was a bug-level existence that they could not cope with, even if he was a True God-level powerhouse; capturing light was still challenging.
He could surpass the speed of light, but he could not catch it, let alone imagine how powerful a life form that was both a wave and a particle and possessed self-awareness could be.
Once it adapted to the properties of light, it could be as strong as the Infinite Sovereign!
Therefore, it was best to eliminate it before it fully adapted.
