"In the last epoch, the one of destruction, there was no such thing as a Child of Destiny, and neither had the Myriad Realms Epoch," declared the Supreme of the Spirit Realm with conviction, "but now, being the final epoch, the Child of Destiny of my Chaotic Myriad Realms must still be somewhere."
They were unanimous in their opinion, and most importantly, the emergence of the Child of Destiny could help the Epoch survive the catastrophe better.

Elsewhere, a Supreme from the destroyed Epoch stepped forth and scolded An Lan.
An Lan cast a deep glance at the Golden Crow before he hid all his resentment and retreated to the side.
He really wanted to kill this Golden Crow, but he knew that with a Supreme there, he couldn't do it.
