Tai Bai Jin Xing reported, "Your Majesty, per the sacred decree, I've summoned the Demon Immortal Sun Wukong to the hall."
The Jade Emperor asked from behind the screen, "Which one is the Demon Immortal?"
Sun Wukong then withdrew his gaze and, with a cupped fist salute, said, "I am he!"
Looking upward, he found that he couldn't see the Jade Emperor's features at all, only sensing an imposing presence from on high.
His behavior shocked all the immortal officers and divine generals present, who exclaimed in dismay, "You demon monkey, how dare you behave so rudely? When in the presence of His Majesty the Jade Emperor, do you not kneel and present your respects?"
"Scram, scram, scram!" Sun Wukong waved his hands dismissively at them, brushing them off. None of these people seemed to be Daluo Golden Immortals, so what right did they have to demand he kowtow to anyone before even asking.
