As he spoke, Chen Nuo let Magic Artifact ignite and heated the oil in the pan. He took out some chilies from the cupboard.
Since it was a live demonstration, he was afraid of spattering the onlookers during the oil's infusion process, so he avoided frying the spices and instead took out a pre-ground mix of Dharma XIII Spices and chilies, adding a handful of salt to it.
Once the oil was ready, he slowly poured it into the bowl, gently stirring the chilies to prevent them from being heated unevenly and getting burnt.
The oil hissed as it splashed over the chilies, the dry peppers gradually becoming saturated, and their distinctive, pungent aroma began to evaporate, causing several of the onlookers to sneeze uncontrollably.
