Listening closely, he was right. The noise was filled with exclamations and a series of banging sounds, mixed with the shattering of glass and the clang of metal.
Li Chen felt a sense of ill-omen. Lin Yi had just been poisoned, and now, there was this disturbance; it was definitely premeditated.

Li Chen silently prayed, hoping the noise wasn't targeting his laboratory, but as he continued to listen, his expression grew increasingly grim.
Amongst the commotion, he could clearly make out the cries and panic from the people in his laboratory. The sounds were unmistakably coming from his lab.
Li Chen's expression darkened; he could hear what sounded like several people giving orders, "Smash this too, and that one, forget it, smash it all..."
