"Can you give me back my ID card?" the man pleaded softly.
"Hmph." The robber opened the wallet, took all the money and several bank cards, then instantly asked, "What's the PIN?"
"Ah?" The man beside Li Chen was also clearly not expecting this.
"I'm asking you what the f***ing PIN is, hesitate again and I'll blow your brains out!" the robber threatened fiercely.
"947251," the man quickly replied.
"That's more like it." Muttering a curse, he then threw the empty wallet back at the man.
"Hey, your turn," the robber said, looking at Li Chen, who had his eyes closed. He reached out and pushed him.
Li Chen acted as if he had just woken up, murmuring vaguely, "What's going on?"
"Hand over the money," the robber bellowed.
Li Chen was startled and hurried to check his pockets, but after a long search, he only found a train ticket. Finally, he looked up with an embarrassed face and said, "Look, I spent my last bit of money on this ticket. I don't have a penny left on me."
