The sudden confession was out of character for Jiang Lin.
Fu Sitian tightened his grip on the mobile phone and asked in a low voice, "Grandpa's surgery, did it run into some problems?"
On the other end of the phone, Jiang Lin sobbed, her voice almost choking, "A group of doctors just went in again, saying there's a small problem with Grandpa's surgery. They only said they would do their best to save him, but I don't know... Mom has already fainted. My brother and I are waiting outside the door. Sitian, I'm a little scared."
"Don't be afraid, I'm on my way now."
While comforting Jiang Lin softly, Fu Sitian also signaled his assistant, Cheng Te, to hurry him to the hospital.
It was all his fault; he shouldn't have been dealing with business affairs at a time like this.
"Mr. Fu, don't worry, we'll be there soon," Cheng Te reassured him.
Meanwhile, Fu Sitian was still consoling Jiang Lin, "Grandpa has a good fortune; nothing will happen to him. I'll be there in five minutes."
