Jiang Lin woke up again to find herself in a hospital room at Pingfan Clinic.
Her mother and Wu Liang sat on either side of the bed, their eyes as swollen as walnuts.
Seeing her awake, Jiang's mother hurriedly said, "Don't get up, you need to rest well."
Jiang Lin rubbed her tired eyes, "What about Professor Lu and Professor Watson?"
"They've gone to Shencheng." Wu Liang, fearing Jiang Lin would get out of bed and rush to Shencheng if she spoke any later, blurted out everything in a rush, "Professor Lu told you to rest well. The wound on your back became inflamed because you've been working nonstop for days on end, which led to a fever due to fatigue and vanity."
Jiang Lin looked towards the light outside the window, "How long have I slept?"
