Jiang Lin first entrusted Wu Liang to her mother's care, repeatedly making sure her condition was fine, before she returned to the clinic with peace of mind.
The burning pain on her back was so intense that she could hardly move; after hours of torment and no medication, she feared it might inflame, perhaps even leading to a fever.
With that thought, Jiang Lin called Xiaomei over and signaled her to close the office door.

Rushing behind Jiang Lin, she examined the injured back with great care, and her hands trembled with the pain she felt on Jiang Lin's behalf.
