Gu Yan nodded, "I'll go get you something to eat." He said as he walked out.
Su Ye lay in bed, but she couldn't fall asleep at all. Jiang Yi was a madwoman, a reckless madwoman, and with her family's support behind her, Su Ye was utterly incapable of doing anything to her at the moment.
She could only swallow the frustration.
Su Ye closed her eyes, hiding the emotions in her eyes. When she opened them again, her eyes were clear.
When Gu Yan came back, Su Ye had her eyes closed. He thought she was asleep and lightened his footsteps as he approached her, then reached out to touch her with a gentle, caressing motion that conveyed a hint of pity.
