Su Wanqing was merely probing; she did not truly know what Su Ye and Gu Yan had been up to outside.
Turning her head to look at her, Su Ye's gaze was heavy, "Nothing at all."
"Really?"
Su Ye's complexion turned irritable, "Why? Didn't he tell you that he took me along because your legs weren't convenient, to serve as your clothes hanger?"
At that, a flicker of triumph crossed Su Wanqing's face, "Of course he mentioned it. I just wanted to know if Ah Yan bought you anything. If not, I'll have Ah Yan buy a set of clothes for you, too."
"After all, you've gone to the trouble, and it wasn't easy."
Su Ye's mouth twisted into a sneer, her face full of scorn, "No need, after all, this piece you're holding is one I rejected."
Su Wanqing's facial expression suddenly stiffened, "What do you mean by that?"
"Exactly what it sounds like." Su Ye let out a cold laugh, taking delight in the anger at the bottom of Su Wanqing's eyes.
