Gu Yan and Su Ye went to dance, but Shen Qifeng didn't invite Su Wanqing, who, of course, wasn't in the mood either.
One was standing, the other sitting, one with a face full of anger, the other with a complexion pale and indifferent.
Shen Qifeng fiddled with his phone, showing little emotion on his face, not caring at all with whom Su Ye danced.
However, he still felt some dissatisfaction with Gu Yan's actions.
As for Su Wanqing, her anger had already reached boiling point—Gu Yan clearly detested Su Ye, yet he danced with her!
Su Wanqing didn't know what seductive tricks Su Ye had used to lure Gu Yan, but she absolutely wouldn't allow Su Ye to steal Gu Yan away!
When Gu Yan returned, Su Wanqing heard his words and her sharp eyes immediately softened.
She naturally looped her arm through Gu Yan's, "Ah Yan, you're really naughty, knowing full well that sister can't dance, you still wanted to see her embarrass herself."
Gu Yan's sarcasm didn't affect Su Ye at all, who looked at him coldly and calmly, and turned her head towards Shen Qifeng saying, "Let's go."
Shen Qifeng nodded, and when passing by Gu Yan, his tone was cool, "Your dance moves are mediocre at best."
Su Ye's lips curved into a hidden smile.
Actually, Su Ye wasn't bad at dancing at all, but Gu Yan just liked to trample on her for fun, cutting her down whenever he got the chance, except in bed.
Su Ye had long since gotten used to it.
Now, someone stood up for her, and a touch of warmth slowly rose from the bottom of her heart.
Stepping out of the banquet hall, Shen Qifeng led her toward the parking garage, and Su Ye stopped, "You go ahead."
Shen Qifeng frowned at her, "Is there something you need to do?"
"Yeah." Su Ye nodded, regardless of whether Gu Yan's words were true or false, she had to go there.
Shen Qifeng gave her a complex look, said nothing, and left first.
Su Ye turned to look at the banquet hall, which was almost empty by now.
She headed to the back garden, where it was deserted at this hour, eerily quiet all around, with the rustling sound of her dress sweeping over the grass.
Looking around, Su Ye didn't spot Gu Yan.
She pursed her lips, about to call Gu Yan, but as she reached for her phone, a long arm reached out and spun her around. Su Ye instinctively let out a cry of surprise before her mouth was covered in the next second.
She was pinned against a tree by Gu Yan, not far from the main entrance of the banquet hall, the surrounding leaves partially concealing them, but from Su Ye's viewpoint, passersby could see them.
She shifted her body, lowering her voice, "Let me go!"
Gu Yan wedged his legs between hers, one hand pressing her down, the other grasping her chin, his eyes slowly filling with a dangerous cold light.
"Su Ye, you're disobeying."
"Gu Yan, we don't have any relationship anymore, stop your nonsense, or do you want everyone to know I was involved with you?"
"Wouldn't your precious darling cry herself to death by then?"
Gu Yan's cold gaze narrowed, ignoring her words, his lips brushing against her ear, his hand slowly moving downward.
His rough fingers traced over her tender white thigh, and a hint of fear surfaced on Su Ye's face; she reached out to grasp him, "Gu Yan, what exactly do you want!"
Gu Yan heard her this time, twisting his wrist free from her grasp, ignoring Su Ye's resistance as he trailed his hand up the inside of her thigh.
Upon touching the place he knew so well, his large palm covering it, feeling Su Ye's trembling body, he smiled with satisfaction.
He pressed his lips against her, whispering seductively, "I want you, here."
