The two suddenly exchanged a silent, meaningful glance.

Shan Yan took a deep breath, picked up his phone, and started to call Gu Yan.
The call connected quickly.
"What's up?" Gu Yan's voice carried a hint of fatigue which could be heard even through the phone.
"It's nothing serious, just wanted to ask you if you have... Su Qingwan's contact details?"
There was a suspicious silence on the other end of the line.
Finally, Gu Yan's voice came through, sounding extremely uncertain, "Who did you say?"
"Su Qingwan, your fiancée." Shan Yan blurted out without thinking.
Another silence followed.
Then, the call was abruptly terminated, leaving only the mocking "beep beep beep" of a busy signal as if laughing at Shan Yan.
