Gu Yanting twirled Zhuo Ya's lips with his finger, his smile ambiguous.
Zhuo Ya suddenly found herself unable to grasp the meaning behind Gu Yanting's words.
She bit her finger and paused before saying, "Hmm, I'll make soup for you every day from now on."
"If your stomach feels uncomfortable, you must tell me."
"It's just soup, it won't affect the baby in the belly, rest assured."
Zhuo Ya stuck out her tongue at Gu Yanting.
Gu Yanting stared at Zhuo Ya, lost in thought.
After what seemed like an eternity, Gu Yanting cradled Zhuo Ya's face and kissed her lips twice.
Zhuo Ya's breathing quickened as she looked at Gu Yanting, making no move to push him away.
The two clung to each other for over an hour until Gu Yanting's secretary had to interrupt for work reasons, and Zhuo Ya glanced at the time and left Gu Yanting's office.
Gu Yanting watched Zhuo Ya's retreating figure, his dark eyes tinged with a dim light.
