Alexander POV
I wouldn't say I was not surprised to see that girl . The same girl I bumped into at the airport.
Yes I was the one who bumped into her , but come on you don't expect me to apologize.
I'm Alex…Alexander Quinn….
King of the underworld … The most eligible bachelor in this town. Of course there's my brother, Eric, but he's nowhere close to me …
What was I saying ?!...
ahh, Yes…
I'm saying that I was stormed out to see her again and at the same time at my bar after about two months I think.
She is not one to easily forget afterall . She is very beautiful … in a unique way , not that I haven't seen much prettier ladies, come on I've dated top models and actresses.
At first, I wasn't sure if she still remembers me until I saw the 'awestruck' look on her face. I guess I left an impression.
When I saw that guy holding her arm and scolding her I already had an inkling that he might have asked her to escort him and she refused and now he's trying to put her in a rough spot.
So… I made Jason Robert apologize to her. I wasn't thinking of the aftermath if this until I saw her panicked expression. At first she looked relieved,you know, like someone they just pleaded not guilty then as if realizing something wrong, she panicked.
Inside my private lounge at the hotel, Aiden, who was my shadow guard and also my assistant, was discussing something work related but I wasn't giving him my maximum attention .
So I asked him to follow her, monitor her and make sure she gets home safely after her shift.
Knowing that Aiden is following her made me feel at ease until Aiden called me and told me that she was unconscious. I was worried not knowing what happened but Aiden was adamant at not telling me anything until they arrived.
I was worriedly pacing up and down when he carried her inside my VIP lounge and laid her down on the couch . After Aiden finished explaining what they encountered I already knew who did it, that son of a bitch, Jason Robert.
He is really adamant but he shouldn't worry. I just need to give him a little warning.
"Aiden, take care of this guy ,Jason Robert, but don't kill him just give him a little warning". I told Aiden which he nodded.
I'm sure he is confused and has a lot of questions to ask me even though he isn't saying anything.
Seriously, even I am confused about this whole thing.
I don't know why I care but I think it's because I am the one who put her in this mess. I should have just let the manager handle this whole thing from the first start.
Looking at Aiden "call a doctor to get here quickly" I instructed and he took out his phone to make a call.

Author's POV
Alexander strolled to where the girl was sleeping peacefully as if nothing had happened.
Few minutes later the Doctor walked in with his equipment .
After running some series of tests and checking her vitals he said
" The substance she was given made her numb and lightheaded. And she's unconscious because of the drug and also fatigue. She would be fine by morning. I've also given her medicine to help wear off the drug effects faster."
Alexander, still worried, asked " so she'd be okay." He said as if assuring himself of that .The doctor nodded.
"So does this drug have any side effects or any of the sort ?" Alexander asked again.
"Well aside from this there's nothing else" the doctor confirmed, leaving some instructions before he left.
Aiden also left leaving just Alexander and Emily in the room.
Alexander strolled back to the 8couch to look at the sleeping beauty again.
' She's even more pretty up close , with those black unruly curls sprawled out on the arm rest of the couch, making one want to woven it with their hands. I wonder how it feels to touch it.' he thought.
Slightly Bending over,he used his index finger to smooth out her furrowed brows and traced it down to her pointed nose .He moved his finger down to her lips, almost touching it when Emily stirred in her sleep, now facing the couch with her back against the man .
As if that brought him back to his senses,he stood up and walked to another room which was the bathroom to freshen up and spend the night in his hotel lounge.
