Khaleed furrowed his brows at her, knowing she must be fuming and sighed.
"What happened?"
"Why is Zephyr alone with Elvirita?" She whined.
Holding a frown, hating the merest idea of Zephyr and Elvirita being together.
He registered her words for a moment, holding his chin before exhaling in disappointment.
"I don't know, child, it happened at the spur of the moment. I had marked random places, they got mixed up,"
He lied, yes, the places got mixed up but he decided who would stay with whom.
And he considered leaving Elvirita and Zephyr alone would be the best for their bonding and overcoming infections- if they exist.
"Be grateful you are here with me or else I doubt you could survive on your own,"
He cracked a joke that made her glare.
