"Hey Amira, wassup?" Lara said laying on her bed whilst dangling her legs.
"Hey". Amira replied
"I'm so sorry I left without you yesterday," she said.
Hearing this, Lara raised an eyebrow, thinking what this lady was up to now.
"I got a call from my manager and had to rush out," she continued, sounding very pitiful.
"It's okay !!" Lara replied rolling her eyes.
"Anyways I heard that your wedding date has been set?"
Lara heard her question and a provocative smile graced her lips. She realized that all Amira wanted to know was this and was not a bit sorry about leaving her behind.
"Oh, about that," Lara sighed.
"The wedding has been set to be before the end of the holidays, but a specific date hasn't been set yet," Lara réplied, showing no interest in her wedding preparation.
On the other end of the phone, Amira smiled, hearing the unwillingness in Lara's voice.
