I continued to eat as if he hadn't asked me to be his just seven seconds ago.
"I know you heard me," he said, raising one of his perfect eyebrows, his gaze serious.
"Uh, no, I thought I heard you say I should be yours when we barely know each other," I said, smiling nervously.
"Trust me, Kiyara, I know every single detail about you." I coughed and quickly wiped my mouth with a tissue.
"What?! Well, you see, I have to decline because I don't think I have romantic feelings for you," I said. I stood up, ready to leave, but his command stopped me.
"Sit." His intimidating tone made me sit back down. "I will give you anything you want, including my life. You have to be mine, Kiyara."
He didn't even ask politely; he was treating me like a prize to be claimed.
"No," I said firmly.
"Okay then." Surprisingly, he agreed. "I must not see you with any man except me. I haven't killed anyone before, you know?" His expression was emotionless, and I felt a chill.
"Kiyara, don't turn me into a monster. Don't even dare get close to any man, or you'll find his head on your doorstep." He stood up, grabbed his coat, and left. I followed, feeling shocked. What if his threat was real? He looked so serious! Why did I believe him?
I paced around the living room until my door opened, revealing my two best friends, Bella and Ariel, looking worried.
"What's wrong, girl? You look worried," Bella said. I hugged them and told them everything that happened. They looked equally shocked.
"I never thought Ezekiel King was that kind of man. He seemed so decent," Ariel said.
"Well, he's the opposite," I replied, calmly staring at my palm in my lap.
"So, he asked you out on a date, told you to be his, you declined, and he said you're not allowed to be with any other man?" Bella summarized.
"That's as good as being married. Look, he can't control you with his empty threats. Show him that you don't care, okay?" Bella said, looking into my eyes. For some reason, I didn't feel safe, but I told them I was fine. They left, and a message popped up on my phone.
Ezekiel: If you love blood, I recommend following your friends' advice.
I glared at his message, feeling infuriated. Was he seriously making threats like this? I typed back.
Kiyara: How did you know they came in?
Ezekiel: I have superpowers.
Kiyara: I'm not joking!
Ezekiel: Neither am I.
He went offline, and I stared at my phone in disbelief. Who the hell did he think he was?
I went to K Jewels company to finally show myself to the people who'd been working for me. They were eagerly waiting, and I hoped Bella would get fewer complaints about the owner never showing her face. I walked into my company, and everything was organized and clean, just as I had left it while in disguise.
The walls were painted white and gold, with my released jewelry displayed in show glass. The employees froze when they saw me, and I turned shy. Nervously, I composed myself and smiled.
"Good morning, everyone," I said cheerfully.
"Morning, boss," they replied in unison.
"Hope you all are having a good time," I added.
"Yes, ma'am," they said, returning to their work. Bella, who was not expecting my visit, looked up from her documents, shocked to see me.
"Kiyara, what are you doing here? If I had known you wanted to show yourself, I would have informed everyone," Bella said, standing beside me.
"I'm sorry. I wanted to surprise you all," I said apologetically.
"You're already full of surprises. I wouldn't be surprised by another, trust me," she said. We both saw Ariel on the phone with someone.
"No, I'm sure we delivered the right necklace. It's pure K!" Ariel said, her frown evident as she looked at documents with a jewelry drawing on them. "I'm really sorry, but I can send you proof that the necklace isn't fake, sir," she added calmly before ending the call and letting out an annoyed scream. She noticed us and looked surprised.
"K-Kiyara, you're here! Wow, what a surprise!" she said, panting after her long scream.
I giggled and asked, "Who was on the phone?"
"An annoying customer," Ariel said.
"The same one who called our rings fake?" Bella asked with a frown.
"Wait, what?" I asked, confused.
"Well, we didn't want to bother you, but there's this annoying customer who always belittles our jewelry, calling it fake and threatening to give us a low rating. We've always managed to prove him wrong, but he keeps ordering again and saying the same thing," Ariel explained.
"And I wasn't informed, despite being the boss?" I asked, annoyed.
"We're really sorry, K," Ariel said apologetically.
"Next time he calls, give the phone to me. If he has a problem with my jewelry, he has a problem with me," I said confidently, then walked toward my office, which had been locked for a long time. It was cleaned up immediately after news of my arrival.
I sat in my office chair, finally owning the business physically. A ding on my phone indicated a new message from none other than Ezekiel King.
Ezekiel King: Hi, baby.
Kiyara: I'm not your baby. What do you want?
Ezekiel: You.
Kiyara: I don't love you. I don't want to be yours.
Ezekiel: You will be mine, and you will love me. Remember, I said you were made for me.
I stared at the screen, recalling when he had said that at the brothel while we were together.
Kiyara: I'm not. Stop texting me. I want nothing to do with you!
Ezekiel: If you weren't made for me, how come my dick fit just right inside you?
Kiyara: You tore it!
I texted angrily.
Ezekiel: I'm sure it will fit more perfectly now, and I'm sure you missed the feeling of a huge cock inside you.
I stared at the message in disbelief and immediately turned off my phone. My face was burning red. Stupid pervert.
Ten minutes later, while reviewing files on my new jewelry piece—a diamond ring with a small "K" embedded on the side—I planned on making it perfect.
After finishing work, I went home for a long sleep. However, when I opened the door, I was shocked to find Ezekiel standing there. I screamed, but he covered my mouth with his long fingers. I calmed down, and he released his hand.
"What are you doing here?" I asked angrily and quietly.
"Am I not allowed to visit my woman?" he said, pulling me closer. I struggled to free myself.
"I am not your woman, Ezekiel. You can't force me to be," I said, staring into his icy blue eyes.
"You're not my woman?" he asked slowly, moving his hands up to my butt.
"Ezekiel," I said, shuddering as he pressed his body against mine. We were practically sharing the same breath. I didn't realize when he pushed me against the wall.
"Say that again, oxygen," he said with a husky voice, his lips close to mine as he held my butt with his large palm.
"Please stop," I said softly, unsure if I could maintain my strong demeanor.
"But I don't want to," he said, our foreheads touching. "I love being so close to you. Your scent is so addicting, your skin feels like heaven, and your breath… it's something I don't think I can live without. I'm obsessed, oxygen. What did you do to me?" he whispered, reaching for my breasts and leaving wet kisses and hickeys.
"You have to stop, Ezekiel. Someone might see," I said, worried about my friends discovering us.
Ezekiel
She was worried about being caught, but I didn't care. I loved how close we were, the feeling of our skin connected, and how she tried to push my hands away. I enjoyed sharing the same breath with her. She was my everything, and she would soon realize that.
I heard her moans as I gently stroked her breasts but chose to ignore them. I smiled slightly; she acted strong, but we both knew she was weak under my touch. I, too, turned weak when I felt her eyes on me. I couldn't control my emotions.
The more I touched her round ass, the more I imagined fucking her hard on the bed until she couldn't scream anymore.
After five minutes, I stopped touching her, leaving a love bite on her neck so everyone would know she was mine. Anyone who caused her pain would be dealt with.
I left quietly through the front door, entered my Ferrari, and still felt her presence. I knew if I stayed any longer, I would fuck her and wouldn't stop. I had other matters to attend to.
Kiyara
I didn't know what was wrong with me. I actually loved how close I was to him. He smelled heavenly, and I moaned a little. Either he heard and pretended not to or didn't hear at all.
