The morning sun filtered softly through the window of Roseanne's room, casting a warm glow over the modest space. Roseanne had just finished her morning routine, her hair still damp and clinging to her neck, when she heard a knock at her door—insistent and lively. She opened it to find Skyla standing there, beaming from ear to ear.
"Come on, we have so much to do!" Skyla chirped, pushing her way into the room with an energy that left Roseanne blinking.
"So much… to do?" Roseanne repeated, confused, as Skyla began setting down a box filled with various makeup products and hair tools.
Skyla turned to her with a mischievous grin. "Of course! You're going on a date with Alpha Davian today, and you need to look your absolute best. We can't just send you out there looking... normal!"
Roseanne felt her cheeks flush, and she quickly shook her head. "I'm not… it's not a date," she stammered, trying to protest. But her words only made Skyla's grin widen.
