Alex's eyes widened in shock at her words, his brows knitting into an annoyed frown.
"Don't you dare mention my father." He said, growling in anger.
However, Risla didn't seem to hear his words, as she stepped forward, continuing her taunt.
"What of Quira… think she'll be happy about this?" She asked, feigning a look of concern and pity.
Alex's face darkened, veins rapidly bulging around his forehead.
His teeth grew into fangs, and his ears rapidly elongated, with fur sprouting at their pointed tips.
"I—" Suddenly, his surroundings changed completely, causing his eyes to widen in shock.
He found himself in a large, empty room, with golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, illuminating the room.
"Where… am I?" He muttered, his eyes darting around in confusion.
The room looked quite similar to a living room back when he used to live in the palace, one where he and Quira used to play frequently.
