Dark qi enveloped my entire being, and in that moment, I no longer resembled the righteous cultivators of my sect. I felt something darker, something akin to the forbidden cultivators others feared. But I was different—I thrived in all forms of cultivation, unrestricted by the paths that bound lesser cultivators.
I had long since transcended the concept of Limit, both in my previous life on Earth and in my early years here, shattering the threshold that constrained others. I existed between all paths, embracing them all, mastering them all.
One of the many advantages of my Forbidden Dao was its ability to conceal parts of myself from the world, even from those closest to me. Just as I had hidden this very Dao from my mother, I could keep my second self shrouded in shadow, unseen by even the most powerful eyes.
As I activated my All-seeing Sight, the flow of time seemed to freeze around me.
