Is he tall or short?, is he still in college or has a well paying job, or is he hustling?, is he an introvert or extrovert?. I wondered about so many things my Future boyfriend could be or possibly not be.
Hi , my name is Min Song, I'm an American Korean, and I'm a freshman in college. I'm turning 18 in a few months, yayy 😜. I am sure you'd be wondering if I've never had a boyfriend, well, I've had one and it didn't last up to 3 months. It was just about last year, I was still young and naive and I guess the dude was bored, and decided to use me as his play toy. Well, on a lighter mood, he was a jerk and I've been able to move on.
Well, I'm pretty excited about my first day in college. High school was a bit tough on me, so I'm pretty hopeful about College. I don't want you getting it all wrong or anything, I wasn't a nerd, okay? Hahaha, but, I certainly was a bookworm. My parents are doctors,so you do not expect me to falter 😭. They want me to become a doctor, it's pretty much cool, I mean the sciences and all. I love the idea of being a doctor but, not as much as that of being a singer.
Also, I've got just one friend that I talk to about literally everything cause yeah ofcourse, my parents are usually too busy to listen to all my fairy tales. Her name is Lee Seheon, we look so much alike that people usually call us Sisters. Well, Lee is going to an arts academy abroad, she's a really good artist. While over here, I'm starting as a freshman in a Med school.
I'm pretty much excited about tomorrow yunno, it's gonna open a new chapter in my life. I'm hoping to do well, Okay, let's cut it here, need to go to bed.
CHAPTER 2
8:00am
What's all that noise about? Shhhh. Woke up to the sound of the alarm 😶. My parents are home today, it's the weekend and they took permission of absence. The school is downtown and I'd be living there, so my parents decided to take me there themselves. I must say it's a relief that they actually do care that much.
Min: Hey mom, please can you knock next time?
Mrs Song: Hey Min, can you give the computer a break? Hahaha, how's my favorite girl doing?
Min: I'm okay mom, you know I told you I'm writing a Novel.
Mrs Song: Hmmm, can't wait to read it.Get ready though, we'll leave around 10, you need to be early to settle in. In the meantime, Breakfast is ready , come down soon okay?
Min:Yes mum
Mrs Song: Hope you've parked everything you'd need?
Min: Yes mama, I have. I'll be down soon.
Mrs Song: Okay Min Min
Min: ohh mom, you know how much I hate that name 😂
Mrs Song: Shh, just be down soon
Min: yes mom

Yes, I know. She's one of the best mom anyone could ask for. They both have their flaws, but I'm glad to have them both. Anyways, I'm gonna go have breakfast now. Normally, it's always a quiet time at breakfast but, today happens to be an exception.
Min: Good morning Dad
Mr Song:Good morning dear. Min, how was your night?
Min: I didn't sleep much, was pretty excited and nervous about today Dad
Mr Song : I understand the feeling. I know this would be your first time living on your own, I am sure you can handle it . Your mom and I just needs you to be focused in school so, you can come join us at the hospital.
Min: Yes Dad, you've said that already. I would do my best.
Mr Song: I know you would. Also, about the boyfriends part 🌚
Min: Dad? How about the boyfriends part? 🌚
Mrs Song: All your father is trying to say is that you should be careful about them. I vividly remember how you and Juha ended, and I don't want you going through that again. So, just take your time and don't be in any haste, is that okay?
Min: Ma, Pa, I understand all what you're saying. I wouldn't be in any haste, and I'll just try to settle in first and focus on my studies
Mr Song: That's my girl. Anyways, you should go prepare now
Min: Yes Dad.

Well, that wasn't a bad conversation. My parents are always cool with stuff like that. I'd be back when we reach the school 😌, for now I'll need to wash up and get things together.

Whoaa, you guys, I wasn't expecting the school to be this big. It even had an hospital in it. Well, we're just driving in but, I can tell from all the tall buildings around. Dad found a spot at the parking lot and soon after, I was already bringing down my bags. While I was still standing with Dad and mom discussing , two girls rushed up to us. They were obviously twins, for a bit I was startled. They were giving me a warm welcome 🤗 it also came with Chocolates. They seemed like seniors. Well, soon after they left and I was back with just mom and dad. We were still talking when a really fancy car drove and parked just beside us. While some girls were giggling, other cars joined the car, it seemed more like a convoy.
I kept wondering who could cause this much commotion. Well, a man dressed in a black suit with shades, also huge and scary looking opened the door of the car that was parked beside us. A young guy in maybe his early twenties, wearing a black shirt and trousers, with grey eyes, a perfectly shaped nose, the perfect masculine nature, and the most handsome face I've ever seen came down from the car. I was forced to ask a girl that was just staring close who he was. She said he is the director's Son, that is the owner of the University. Wow 😳. Soon after a girl about the same age with him, with the perfect body and face came down from the second car. The girl who told me who the guy was, added "that is June, his girlfriend". They held hands and walked into the school building while, the bodyguard was walking behind them, keeping a not so close distance.
The so perfect moment was cut up when dad said, I should stay safe and I should be closer to such circle of people, that it could really do me so much good in the future. Well, I hugged both of them for the last time after reassuring them that I'll be good, and try to make meaningful relationships and friendships. Soon after they left, so I just walked in alone and did my registrations. It was so stressful and I was already tired when I got my room card. Anyways, I got into my room in no distant time. I met just one person in the room. She was super nice to me. She said her name was Lucy. She also helped me settle in and we got into the girl's talk, and yes, I felt really comfortable around her.

Min: OMG, I didn't add. I saw the Director's son too.
Lucy: Really? 😳. You saw Leo?
Min: That's his name? Leo?
Lucy: Yes, it is. He is one of the smartest seniors, and his parents are shockingly rich. Seeing that you saw Leo, I'm sure you've seen June too?
Min: Yes, I did. I also heard she's his girlfriend. Does she attend this school too?
Lucy: Well, June doesn't attend this school but, she comes so frequently to check on Leo. They are what should I call it?, the main plot in their parents scheme.
Min: Their parents scheme?
Lucy: Yes. Leo parents own this school but, June parents are the direct sponsors. So, their parents match made them to hold the bond they share. Only the students here really know that Leo and June are not in love with each other. Though, June just recently started being clingy, and I'm guessing developing feelings for Leo, but, Leo still seems pretty uninterested.
Min: Wow, what a twist. But, they do look like they are madly in love with each other. You know coming to school together and even holding hands.Lucy: Well, that's all cover up and for the media.
Min: oh I get now. Well, that's their business. Are we like, the only roommates?
Lucy: well, there is just one more. We should be expecting a freshman too.
Min: Ooh, that's really great.
Lucy: Just get ready for tomorrow. It would be your Orientation and Lecture day, so expect it to be hectic.
Min: Right, I've already set my mind on that😔.
Lucy: Don't worry, you'll be fine.
Min: Thanks
Lucy: Sure.

Well, mom decided to have a video chat with me. Lucy was busy studying, but she had time to come say hi to mom. Well, there was a knock on the door and Lucy went to check it. Yayyy, it's our roommate, was wondering why she came in so late. Well, she also said hi to mom. She said her name is Oma and she's a Nigerian. Woww, that was like, literally the first time seeing a Nigerian so, it was pretty exciting. Mom ended the call after some time, leaving Lucy and I to get to know Oma better.
Lucy: Nice meeting you Oma.
Oma: Same here 😊. So, like I said already I'm Oma, a freshman and a Nigerian. My parents just recently moved here from Nigeria. My mom is a Nurse while, Dad just got a job in the tech company.
Min: Wow, that's really cool. Well, it's nice meeting you Oma. Oh, i didn't do a proper introduction.
Lucy: Same here, but go ahead.Min: Okayy, well, I'm Min. I'm Half American. My mom is Korean while Dad is from Manchester. Well, they are both Doctors. There's not really much to know anyways. Just that I'm an Introvert, Claustrophobic, and asthmatic. Since, we're roommates, I decided to share that just in case any need arises.
Oma: It's nice meeting you Min.
Lucy: Well, I'm Lucy. Definitely not a freshman 😂, I'm in my third year here. I'm not here with my family, they are in South Africa. I'm from Washington DC but, my parents decided I study here. My parents just got transferred to SA that's why they are not around. Though, I have a Cousin that resides here and I spend the holidays there.
Min: That must be difficult.
Lucy: yeah, it does, from time to time. But, I already got used to it. They would be back here with me by next year, so I'm pretty hopeful.
Oma: Great ☺️
Lucy: Enough of the boring talk guys😌. There's a freshman Party tomorrow and you both definitely have to attend it.
Min: Uhhh, I hate Parties honestly.
Oma: That would have to change while I'm here, cause I'm a party freak.
Min: okay fine, just for today though
Lucy: Yes my Lady 😂
