Chapter 5 - Savvy Family Ascension

Carter was anxiously walking to the mall, his mind racing with questions. What if he needed cash and the money couldn't be withdrawn from the card? Would he be able to use his card everywhere he went? Deep in thought, a message from the status window popped up.

##System privilege synchronization will commence by your choice##

##Do you wish System Synchronization to take place? ##

Carter thought for a few seconds before deciding.

"Accept synchronization. I get a feeling that it'll be something great again, like the last privilege."

After Carter accepted the synchronization, another message popped up.

##Synchronization 1%...2%...5%...6%...10%...100%## ##Synchronization Complete## ##System has been bound to Earth's network and technology##

"What?" Bewildered, Carter shouted in shock, drawing the attention of other pedestrians.

##Carter Savvy's card has been registered to all banks and smartphones that the user will use##

##System is interacting with Earth's network##

##System has registered information about Carter Savvy in the Earth network information##

##Nora, Riley, and Mitchell have been registered as Savvy family members##

Carter was astonished by this sudden influx of information. How could the system interact with Earth's network so seamlessly? What were the bounds of this system power? He pondered this for a while and then asked the system.

"Do you mean I can use my card at any bank I go to, and they won't be suspicious of me?"

##That's correct##

Carter was pleasantly surprised by this new feature. Having access to the whole world's network without ever being caught gave him a sense of unparalleled freedom.

"Then what about the information you uploaded on the internet? What kind of information did you put?" Carter asked anxiously, fearing the system might have uploaded his real details and drawn unwanted attention.

Another message popped up, listing all the information about Carter currently circulating.

##Mr. Savvy, a mysterious man with an estimated wealth of hundreds of trillions## ##Mr. Savvy is currently the head of the Savvy family and the founder of the Savvy family##

##Mr. Savvy's age is currently 18 years##

##Mr. Savvy's assets and companies [Confidential]##

##Origin of Savvy family [Confidential]##

##Members of the Savvy family [Confidential]##

Carter's eyes widened upon seeing this information. This would be his disguise in the business world. He was pleased with how his real identity was concealed, knowing the system would block any attempts to uncover it.

"Well, that will be great. Even if we buy Attribute Investment Company, no one will be suspicious of us," Carter said, continuing to walk towards the mall. Then another message popped up.

##You have to increase the number of your family members. Go through the shop for more details.##

Taken aback, Carter wondered aloud, "Weren't Riley and the others the only ones I could get?"

As if reading his mind, a message appeared.

##Family members you can acquire from the system are unlimited.##

Excited, Carter hurriedly opened the shop and navigated to the workers' section, where he saw a huge number of people waiting for him to choose and pay for their summoning. He contemplated how many he needed to help Riley and the others, eventually deciding to hire seven more: two normal workers to assist Riley and four bodyguards, along with a butler to help the family members.

After selecting his new recruits, a message popped up.

##Do you wish for them to be teleported to where the other family members are located?##

"Whoa, I can teleport them directly?" Carter exclaimed. "Yeah, that will be better than taking them out of here. There are too many eyes around."

A message confirmed that the new family members had arrived safely, each costing one billion dollars. Feeling relieved, Carter continued his tasks for the day, now unafraid as everything seemed to be falling into place.

Meanwhile, Riley, Mitchell, and Nora were at a showroom looking for a car to use as transportation for their upcoming tasks and daily use.

"Miss, please look at these cars here. This one is a Rolls-Royce Phantom," the manager himself was showing them around, sensing an opportunity for a big sale.

"You're here, Mitchell," a male voice called from behind them.

Riley, Mitchell, and Nora recognized the voice—it was Bennett, one of the new members of the Savvy family. They turned to see a group of seven young men, all looking like they had just descended from the heavens, radiating wealth and charm.

"It seems you're here to help us, Bennett," Mitchell sneered.

"You were supposed to assist us. You came first to pave the way," Bennett retorted, his tone sharp.

"That's enough," Riley intervened, her voice commanding respect. "We don't have time for this. Let's pick the cars and leave."

"Which ones will you take, miss?" the manager asked eagerly.

"There are ten of us here, so we'll need five cars," Riley stated confidently.

The manager was taken aback. Five cars? Who were these people?

"Give us five of these," Riley pointed to the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

"That will be thirty-five million dollars in total, miss," the manager sneered, thinking they might be joking. But when Riley pulled out her branded Savvy black card, his demeanor changed instantly. He ran to fetch the transaction machine, and Riley swiped the card, paying the full amount without hesitation.

"Butler Joshua, you'll drive me. Jonathan, you drive Nora. Samuel, you drive Mitchell. Ethan, you drive Bennett. And Lucas, you drive Gabriel. We don't stop until we reach our destination. Understood?" Riley ordered.

"Yes, Riley, we understand," they responded in unison.

Butler Joshua, a young man in his twenties with blue hair and tender features, embodied the elegance and grace of the Savvy family. The bodyguards, each strikingly handsome and in their late teens or early twenties, exuded a princely aura. Among them, Bennett and Mitchell seemed to share a fierce rivalry, while Gabriel, with his shy personality, rarely spoke.

This team of young, attractive individuals represented the mysterious and prestigious Savvy family, making their grand debut today.

After everyone entered the cars as instructed, they began their journey, leaving the showroom in a stunning convoy of five Rolls-Royces. Onlookers couldn't help but stare in awe.

Back at the mall, Carter first visited an ATM to withdraw some cash, then entered a store selling casual clothes. After picking out enough items for himself, he paid and moved on to the phone store. There, he selected eleven iPhones and ten laptops, deciding against buying one for himself to avoid drawing too much attention.

The seller was initially skeptical, but when Carter pulled out his black card, his attitude changed. He knew immediately that Carter wasn't an ordinary customer. Carter paid in full, and his purchases were wrapped and ready to go. Despite the weight of the items, Carter, with his transcendence, carried them effortlessly.

Feeling hungry, Carter decided to have a meal at the mall's restaurant. As he ate, he watched a live broadcast from the Attribute Investment Company on the restaurant's TV, intrigued by the news.

"Oh, we must capture this!" one of the reporters exclaimed as a Rolls-Royce approached.

Carter's expression changed as he recognized the man stepping out of the car—his brother, Mark, accompanied by his ex-girlfriend, Emil. The sight of them together filled him with disgust.

Mark, always the smooth talker, was addressing the reporters.

"I'm here to support and congratulate my friend in advance," Mark said with a charming smile.

"By a friend, do you mean Brandon Turner?" a reporter asked.

"Yes, that's right. I believe the Turner family will get to buy Attribute today," Mark replied.

As Mark finished speaking, the reporters' attention shifted to another scene unfolding—five Rolls-Royces arriving in front of the Attribute Company. The sight of the luxurious cars caused a stir, with everyone eager to know who the mysterious newcomers were.

The drivers exited first, followed by the young, regal-looking members of the Savvy family. The reporters scrambled to capture every moment, their curiosity piqued.

Meanwhile, Carter's anger simmered as he watched his brother and Emil, his resolve to surpass them growing stronger with every passing second.
