"My, my—it seems Mika has grown quite a bit," Akeno observed Mika with a smile, impressed by his power and the swift, decisive kill. She could sense that he had surpassed her in strength.
Rias nodded in satisfaction. As a Devil who valued her peerage as family, she was always pleased to see her servants grow stronger.
While Rias and Akeno were still reveling in Mika's display of power, Dohnaseek and Kalawarner were already planning their escape.
Their earlier confidence had been shattered. As Fallen Angels of similar strength, none of them could truly overpower the others.
Therefore, if Mika could kill Mittelt so easily, he could just as easily kill them.
They spread their wings and ascended, hoping to use their superior flight to escape.
"Running away already? You seemed so confident earlier. How disappointing." Mika watched them go, a hint of frustration in his voice. He hadn't even begun to enjoy the fight.
"Fine, then let's play a game of tag." He unfurled his own Devil wings.
"President, I'm going to have some fun with them in the sky."
"Be careful," Rias cautioned.
"Don't worry." He waved and ascended, quickly realizing he couldn't match their speed.
Despite his training and enhancements, his flight was still inferior to theirs. They were truly powerful fliers.
"As expected of Angels, even fallen ones. Their flight is unmatched." He abandoned his attempts at a direct pursuit.
His wings ignited, flames erupting as he used the added thrust to accelerate. He quickly caught up to them.
"Split up!" Dohnaseek shouted, seeing Mika approaching rapidly.
Kalawarner immediately changed direction, flying off to the side.
"Trying to divide and conquer?" Mika chuckled. He stopped, his spear vanishing as he conjured a bow of flames and nocked a flaming arrow.
He locked onto Kalawarner's aura with his enhanced senses. With a flick of his finger, the arrow shot forward.
To the astonishment of Rias and Akeno below, Kalawarner flew into the arrow's path, her body instantly igniting as she plummeted towards the ground.
Mika smiled faintly. This was his [Future Sight]—a technique similar to that used by certain archers among the Servants of the Type-Moon world.
Combining high-level [Clairvoyance] and [Instinct], they could achieve a form of precognitive aiming. It was a—God-level Archery.
While Mika didn't possess those specific skills—he had his own equivalents: Observation Haki and Transparent World.
With Observation Haki, his archery had evolved once more—He knew the moment he loosed the arrow that Kalawarner was dead. Her burning body disintegrated before even reaching the ground.
He turned his attention to Dohnaseek, who had flown quite a distance.
Having eliminated two of the three Fallen Angels, he no longer felt any killing intent towards the last one.
He needed to capture him to study the power of light.
He accelerated, pursuing Dohnaseek.
Rias and Akeno exchanged glances as they watched them fly away.
"Will Mika be alright?" Akeno asked, worried.
"He'll be fine," Rias said confidently. "Now that he's handled the Fallen Angels, let's go check on Issei. I imagine he's already engaged those priests."
They headed towards the church.

Elsewhere in Kuoh Town.
Dohnaseek lay on the ground, one of his wings pierced by Mika's spear, unable to fly.
His burns added to his misery; he had nowhere to escape.
Footsteps approached. Mika emerged from the trees, his gaze fixed on the struggling Fallen Angel.
"Such a strong will to survive—even in this state. But don't worry, I'm not here to kill you," he said with a smile.
Dohnaseek froze. "Then—what do you want?"
"To capture you, of course." He raised his hand, and a sphere, covered in intricate runes, appeared—a [Containment Spell] crafted by Gabriel specifically for capturing Fallen Angels.
He tossed it into the air, and as it fell towards Dohnaseek, it expanded, enveloping him and pulling him inside.
"Argh!" His cry was cut short as he vanished within the sphere, which then shrunk and flew back to Mika's hand. He weighed it curiously; its weight hadn't changed.
"Interesting—" He placed the sphere in his pocket and turned towards the church.
--
After capturing Dohnaseek, Mika flew towards the church.
When he reached the spot where he had encountered the Fallen Angels, Rias and Akeno were gone.
He activated his Observation Haki and located them, along with Issei, Yuuto, and Koneko.
However, only Issei was fighting. The others were hidden, observing his battle against Raynare, who had already acquired the Twilight Healing.
"Poor Issei—he's been completely manipulated. But perhaps this is for the best," Mika mused, watching the scene unfold.
After Issei's repeated attempts to help Asia, Rias began investigating the church.
She discovered the Fallen Angels operating there were acting in secret. This intrigued her. If it had been a sanctioned operation, she wouldn't have intervened.
After all, she couldn't risk a war between Devils and Fallen Angels over a single nun.
However, a rogue operation by a few Fallen Angels was a different matter.
After gathering intel, she had devised a plan to "Rescue" Asia: recruit her into her peerage.
If she couldn't interact with Issei as a Fallen Angel's servant, then she would become a Devil.
Of course, her decision wasn't solely based on Issei's pleas.
Rias was genuinely interested in Asia. As a member of the Gremory clan, one of the 72 Pillars, she possessed a unique trait: a talent for discovering hidden treasures.
It was this trait that had allowed her to assemble such a powerful peerage.
Upon seeing Asia's file, she had recognized her potential.
Once she had decided to recruit Asia, Rias began planning her strategy.
While the Fallen Angels at the church were no match for her, they would serve as excellent training for her new recruits, Mika and Issei.
Therefore, she had taken Mika directly to the Fallen Angels' ambush point, intending to deal with them swiftly.
As for Issei? She had arranged everything.
After she, Akeno, and Mika left, Issei would undoubtedly attempt to rescue Asia, and Yuuto and Koneko would follow.
With Mika handling the other three Fallen Angels, only Raynare, the mastermind behind this scheme, would remain.
Rias hoped this battle would trigger Issei's awakening.
As for the other Stray Exorcists, Yuuto and Koneko would keep them occupied, preventing them from interfering with Issei's fight.
"As expected of a Devil—she's truly a Master Manipulator." Mika smiled as he sensed the battle within the church—approaching slowly.
"Don't run, you fool!"
"Damn it—I have the ultimate healing power!"
"And what good will that do you now? You can't even fly! Die—you pathetic Fallen Angel!"
"Damn! Damn you!"
"Argh!"
Mika sensed Issei grappling with Raynare, his left hand glowing as Boosted Gear activated.
Empowered by his Sacred Gear—he punched her, sending her flying through the church wall.
Mika leaped forward, catching her in mid-air.
"Long time no see, Raynare. Weren't you planning to kill me?" he taunted, holding her up. Raynare, still reeling from Issei's blow, was unconscious.
Just then—a figure rushed towards him.
"Mika-senpai!"
"Oh, it's Koneko."
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be inside?"
"President Rias wants me to bring her back." She pointed at Raynare.
"In that case, let's go together." He couldn't resist her adorable face, though he suppressed the urge to pat her head. He led the way back to the church.
--
Inside, Yuuto was holding Issei, who seemed to be on the verge of collapse, while Rias and Akeno explained the situation to him.
"We're back, President," Koneko said.
"Good work, Issei! I heard your roars from outside. It seems you've grown stronger," Mika said with a smile.
"Mika, you're back!" Issei grinned.
"Of course. I wasn't just sitting around while you were fighting." He opened his hand, and three black feathers drifted down.
"What are those?" Issei looked at the feathers, puzzled.
While he didn't understand their significance, someone else did.
"Kalawarner—Dohnaseek—Mittelt…" Raynare murmured, her voice filled with shock. Mika had dropped her on the floor upon entering the church.
She recognized the feathers instantly.
"That's right," Mika chuckled. "Your Fallen Angel companions are dead. I killed them."
