My fingers thrummed the kitchen counter as I waited for my cake to harden. The best way to make myself useful for the time being was to find something that would take my mind off my situation.
That something was baking.

I wanted to bake something special for Adonis to make him feel better and to ease his worries. Sandro told me he didn't have much of a sweet tooth but that wasn't the case yesterday, when he had 3 slices of my banana bread.
