John saw a glimmer of hope and quickly asked, "Can the black mist be blocked in World-in-Hand?"
Leisian answered confidently, "There's nothing to fear there. The Tree of Life is incredibly powerful. I've nurtured it there, and it has absorbed some of my power. It's not afraid of this evil black mist at all."
The Tree of Life can even dispel the corrosive black mist.
John felt completely relieved. With The Tree of Life in World-in-Hand, Leisian outside, and his own Plunder talent, he was practically invincible.
But how could he leave this place?

Angry howls echoed, and the mist churned as enormous beasts charged forward.
All of them were Bone Devouring Beasts, Soul Devouring Beasts, and Ruin Beasts, all above one-star Emperor rank.
"Let's enter World-in-Hand first," he said, picking up the seriously wounded and weak Merciless. With a thought, they entered World-in-Hand.
They arrived beneath the Tree of Life.
