"Excellent. I'll head back to make preparations. Farewell," Sea King said, clasping his fists together before his figure disappeared.
As soon as Sea King was gone, Tony, still puzzled, asked, "My lord, it seems like you don't trust Sea King?"
Cand-Dragon nodded. "I suspect the Sea Clan has ties with the Shadow Clan."
"The Sea Clan and the Shadow Clan? That doesn't sound right," Tony said, confused. He had never heard of any connection between the two.
Cand-Dragon narrowed his eyes. "Do you remember the last time the Shadow Clan descended? They wiped out the Immortals and mercilessly attacked other races—except for the gods and the Sea Clan."
The Shadow Clan were known for their cruelty. They needed the gods to maintain control over the various races of the Skyline Continent, which is why they spared them.
