"Let him in," Heidern's voice echoed through the air.
Grey bowed to the void before leading John toward The Temple.
John entered.
The Temple was vast and empty, with Heidern having dismissed everyone else. His tone was neutral as he asked, "Human, what brings you here?"
John didn't bother with pleasantries. He directly pulled out the set of Shadow Clan treasures and threw them at Heidern's feet.
Heidern swallowed hard, his eyes widening in surprise. "You've killed another Shadow Clan warrior?"
"No," John shook his head. "It's the same set as before. You know the Dark Human named Sanki? He's betrayed your gods and tried to join the Shadow Clan. I intercepted him."
"What!" Heidern shot up from his seat, his face darkening, fury blazing in his eyes.
He didn't doubt John's claim.
The set of Shadow Clan treasures had indeed been taken by the Dark Humans.
