Chapter 66 - 63: question on the resolve!

"Glacial Execution!" Void chants, taking his stance. A wicked grin spreads across his face, not born of hatred but of sheer thrill. "You guys are the ones who'll create future deaths for me. Though I hate to do this, my hot chocolate is on the line!"

Lumi, in her blade form, emits a chilling, frozen breeze that swirls around her edge. Void directs the heavy blow toward Gallus, Aelius, and Aziel, who narrowly dodge the attack. However, the strike still slices through a nearby cruise ship from some nation, cutting it in half like an apple.

Straightening Lumi, Void begins to walk forward. "Come now… Show me whether you've got balls or not!" he taunts, momentarily forgetting the reverse world he's in. Lumi starts laughing in her blade form.

"Ohh..! Void… you shouldn't cuss like that! Fufufu..!" Lumi giggles, finding humor in the situation. Every woman present either chuckles or smiles at the unintended double entendre, as if they were discussing a competition of bosoms.

Realizing his mistake, Void quickly apologizes. "Hee..! I'm sorry, I apologize for bad mouthing. I just wanted to say, show me whether you have the strength to fight me or not." He bows slightly, exposing his vulnerability in the process.

"Is he for real…?" Aelius wonders, trying to hide his blush, aware of how taboo such talk is for men in this world.

"Now let's get our things clear! Frozen Domain!" Void declares, summoning a zone that strikes at Aelius, Gallus, and Aziel. The blades, manipulated by Void's will, clash with their targets as if wielded by a master swordsman, utilizing all the slices, strikes, and thrusts to keep them at bay.

"I recently advanced my control over zones to grant me infinite mana without using Mana Infusion, but I haven't fully mastered it. As a result, I have limitations and can only fight for 20 minutes—every second matters! I'm literally immortal; my healing ability is working automatically. After this, I'll have my muffins, cookies, cake, and my hot chocolate hehehe…" Void wipes his drool. "Which I kept hidden from Meisheng!"

Meanwhile, back in the room where the remaining fiancées are gathered…

"To think he used the technique I gave him for fast healing to fight aggressively in battle…" Astrid clenches her fist. "That's my husband!" she yells, holding a cup of hot chocolate high. "Go ahead, Papa!" Cicely cheers from behind her mother, munching on cookies.

Everyone in the room happily indulged in all the sweets Void had hidden away, thinking he'd eat them after reaching the academy. Scared of getting seasick, he hadn't eaten much before the battle.

"Hey… stop eating… Master… will get ma—" Arcane tries to stop them but ends up eating a cupcake Zoe feeds her, tears streaming down her face. "I'm sorry, Master… but I can't throw away this gourmet dish. Your cooking is fabulous…! Please forgive me…!"

In a corner, Aoi and Cassey discuss their rankings, while Meisheng and Anette, sworn enemies, dance and cheer together, hands on each other's shoulders, raising their legs in sync.

Back on the battlefield, Void has already cornered Gallus and Aelius, showing them their place, while Aziel, now running for his life, pleads, "See, Void? I give up… please stop chasing me, or I might bring a ban on cocoa production!" he cries, desperate.

Void's monstrous speed allows him to teleport within his zone, even freezing the sea to prevent escape by water. But Void knows that 70% of cocoa is produced in the Demon Kingdom.

"Hee..! How boring of you… And this guy is first in line for the crown..?" Void taunts. The next moment, a strong impact breaks his zone and sends him flying, crashing through three cruise ships along the way.

"An absolute monster? Or should I call you a mindless beast! Did you think hitting me would save you from this mess? No!!! Fight my slave! Hehaha!" Aziel's sinister laugh echoes, but not for long…

With a shining glimmer, Void, moving at the speed of light, rides on Lumi (in her blade form, of course) and strikes Aziel without casting any magic, making him fall back from the impact, cracking the platform.

"I'm… sorry… Mr. Void… please… Save me..! Save me!" Aziel's sister, Opal Earlborrow, telepathically pleads for freedom. "I can't take this anymore… or please kill me!" she begs, her black hair disheveled and her body marked with signs of torture.

"Void!! We have no right to get involved in this matter! It's a sibling quarrel and a royal family issue! Please don't make impulsive decisions!!" Lumi tries to reason with Void.

"I've had enough!! How can a brother act like this, no matter who he is? Do they think life is just a plaything..? Lumi, go all in! I'll use my zone again—this time, I'll go all out! This woman is rank 2; if we back down, this brat will eventually control the council!" Void's resolve strengthens as he creates his zone again, this time clashing with Opal's territory.

"Hear me out, Opal Earlborrow! I, Void Middletown, challenge you! If I win, you'll be mine, submitted to my mercy! Your rights, your life, your freedom will be in my hands!!" Void declares as they clash blades again. The impact causes the ship to dive into the water and resurface, with only 25 fighters, including Void and Opal, still standing.

Opal, as if forbidden from speaking, fights with Void on the now-destroyed ships, their strength on full display. Aziel, barely surviving, watches the intense battle as the top 27 miracles of the new generation clash with all their might.

"Lovely… After decades, I'm able to see our blood kicking asses, especially the first-time man of our family hahaha!" an old woman, likely in her late sixties, with a strong build and short hair, says with a pride-filled chuckle. Her tone carries authority and dominance as she watches Void fight.

Sweat forms on the necks of those around her, all Middletown elders and upcoming young heirs, as they witness Void's monstrous power. "He is resembling Maria..! In every way possible, sleeves folded, chest visible through the open buttons of his shirt, grinning as if enjoying the edge of death… but why is he even doing that..?" an older woman, with similar features to Maria, wonders aloud. She's refined, likely in her late fifties, wearing a suit in contrast to Maria's style.

"Olivia! You've really lost your edge," the older woman from before says with an evil smile. Her gaze locked on Void. "He's showing us that he doesn't give a shit about whether we accept him as the heir or not! He's proving he's not just some spoiled philanderer with ten girls behind him; he's showing us the blood of Maria, her teachings!" she says, returning to her seat with a wine glass, an evil grin spreading across her lips.

"I'm amused by Void! You really mocked me just like your mother did… proving every single elder wrong about your capability," the woman says, turning her attention back to the battlefield.

"What are you doing there, you idiot! End him already!" Aziel yells, but his words are cut short as a blazing strike nearly hits him. He barely dodges the attack.

"What the… helly ash! Is the shameless betrayed sister going to take revenge to show how kind she is..?" Aziel smirks, his words piercing through Vivienne's feelings.

"Shut your fucking mouth! Dumbass, I'm here to show you your place!" Vivienne yells, gripping her giant axe as flames surround her.

"Looks like finally, Vivienne has come on the right track..!" Lumi giggles as she and Void clash with Opal, pushing their limits. The 27 fighters clash with all their might.

As the battle rages, Void's mind is in turmoil. "No!!..why…? Hold on, Void! You're not Ajay… you're Void…! This is fake… nothing happens like this in real life..! A brother mustn't act like this..! Forgiving… bonds… are important!!" Void's thoughts spiral as he questions what's right and wrong, struggling with the harsh reality before him.
