The news about a possible infestation in Hailderguard had not been announced officially by the Duke and Duchess - from a mere whisper to a wide fire rumor and rumors spread faster in Hailderguard.
Zenemiah charged into his father's household, alongside with Victoria and Shadrach - seeing this strange entry was Eve, Bartholomew and the head maid.
"Mother, you have to leave Hailderguard right away!" Zenemiah had a problem of delivering a message straight to the without sugar-coating it.
"Zene, what's going on?" Eve was confused
"Mother, the demons are coming!" Victoria clamored
"A possible infestation is upon Hailderguard" Shadrach added.
"Silence!"
Eve need a quiet atmosphere for her to process what the children were trying to say.
"Where are you getting all this information from Zenemiah?"
Zenemiah knew telling the truth about the road trip he, Shad and Vicky had today would implicate Bartholomew - "I overheard at my training camp mother"
"But there is no announcement from the Duke and Duchess" said the Head maid.
"It's a direct information that I got, we want to the church, I don't think they believed us" Victoria said.
"I'm not leaving my home for those foul creatures" Eve being reluctant
"Mum you can't stay here it's not safe" Zenemiah pointed out.
"What about you three, why make it sound like you have a responsibility here in Hailderguard" Eve asked, realizing there was more to the story.
"We're the Deliverant Unit Mrs Saint Claire" Shadrach opened up
"The Deliverant Unit?"
"How?" Bartholomew asked with curiosity
"It doesn't matter!" Zenemiah reponded sharpley "What matters is that you and everyone at home need to leave right now!"
"Over my dead body!" Eve exclaimed "If what you say is true, then I am not leaving Hailderguard without my children and you, Shadrach, don't you think your family will be worried?.." Eve pressed, while she didn't believe their words,
she knows that her children wouldn't pull a prank like this especially with what happened with their father
"They will be, but I can't leave .." Shadrach already made up his mind
"If there is a chance we can stop the infestation of demons right here in Hailderguard, we can stop them from reaching to any other part of the Eastern lands"
"No, I do not approve, we are all going! "Eve stepping towards the children.
"No mother, I will stay" Victoria fired back immediately
"No, you will not stay!" Eve holding her daughter by the wrist
."I will stay, I'll stay and aid the Crusaders with my own strength" Victoria freeing herself from her mother's grip.
"Before father died, he tried to stop the infestation of demons forever in England, if I can crack the case, I will do what I can, even if i am not a Crusader!" Victoria said with a determined look in her face
"You are just a child!" Eve snapped at the children
"No mother ...." Zenemiah holding his mother's hands gently "I know you're worried, that you think we're going to die, but father would never forgive me if I didn't try to stop this war against demons once and for all, please mother, go to the Capital, it will be safer for you there"
Tear rolled down from Eve's eyes after hearing her son -"you're just like your father; so brave and foolish"
"Madam, if they have truly been appointed as the Deliverent Unit, the fate of Hailderguard, England and the entire world rests upon their shoulders"Bartholomew said
"How do you mean Bartholomew?"Shadrach asked.
There was not point keeping the truth at this moment, Bartholomew had to spill .... the truth - "come with me" Leading Eve, Zenemiah, Shadrach, Victoria and the Head maid to a secret door hidden by the shelf in the sitting room
Bartholomew moved a book; surprisingly, a door opened at the center of the wooden shelf , with a small space in it.
"Did you know that was there mother?" Victoria asked
"No my dear" Eve still in shock Bartholomew removed from the dusty space in the secret door, a wooden box, a rectangular box, so old but the carved writings on it was still visible
[The thirds coming]
The Head maid read out."What is all this Bartholomew?" Zenemiah was blown away"This was the plan your father wanted to accomplish ..
" Bartholomew began to explain, placing the box on a sliver table. "Every Saint Claire joined the Crusaders army since the beginning, but they grew tired of fighting a battle that seemed to have no end and came up with a solution…."
Bartholomew paused to open the box, revealing a small trumpet; still having it shinning gold texture, dusty and odd.
"What is all this ?"Zenemiah asked
"Your grandfather met the other households of England to craft a weapon that could change the rides of the war, a tool that could call the demons to one place for destruction; the Sound of Angels"
"I'm sorry, what?" Shadrach was so confused
"Explain quickly, we don't have much time Bartholomew!" Victoria reminded
"Demons responded to one another, even in different places, and your grandfather saw that as an advantage, creating the ultimate weapon, his plan was to call the demon from every region of the world to one place, where he'd slay them all, but no one else helped him.."
Bartholomew showing the trumpet to the Saint Claires "Your father, Kish vowed to fulfill this dream but died untimely, this is the ultimate weapon of the Saint Claire household, more stronger and powerful than any holy sword, gun or arrow- it was the Sound of Angels!" Bartholmew raused the trumpet in hand
"So, you're saying this trumpet can call every demon from every region of England here, to Hailderguard" Zenemiah tried to confirm, touching the golden trumpet
"Yes, and only males possessing the blood of Saint Claire can activate its effects"
"Wait, Zenemiah is the only one that can blow it right?" Shadrach asked the bulter
"Yes young master Shadrach, I kept it safe, knowing a time would come when England would need a Saint Claire to save it, you, Zenemiah , are the hope that end this war against demons, that was the mission of the Saint Claires" Bartholomew finally concluded
Zenemiah looked at Shadrach, Victoria, Eve, Bartholomew and the head maid, holding the trumpet in his hands, he saw the insignia of the Saint Claires
A golden shield with a red sword in front of it behind the shiled we're horns of an antler
"Father, I promise,I will end this war once and for all " Zenemaih thought to himself
"We have to get to Captain Leo" Victoria reminded.
"We have a chance to stop the infestation with this right" Shadrach added.
"Alright, Deliverant Unit, let's go"
"Wait !"Eve called out to the children, rushing towards them, she hugged them tightly with tears in her eyes
"look after each other"
"I'll look after them, I promise" you that we'll all come back from this" Shadrach assured Eve
"Go now, and protect yourselves"Eve said her goodbye
"God be with you all" The Head maid prayed
Zenemiah turned back and smiled "We'll be back mother, pray the lord grants us safety".
It was clear now - the Deliverant Unit members; Shadrach, Victoria and Zenemiah have a chance to end the war and stop the infestation.
Before entering their carriage, the mailman dropped a letter for them at the pavement of the Saint Claire household
"What is it?" Victoria asked, while Shadrach opened the letter.
"A state of emergency, every one has two hours to leave Hailderguard, orders from the Duke and Duchess"
The mailman confirmed the message and left in a hurry to deliver more.
"Bartholomew!" Zenemiah yelled at the entrance walkway
"Yes young master" Bartholomew rushing out of the mansion
"Get this message to my mother, you all have to leave now" Zenemiah passed the letter to the worried bulter
"What about you three?" Bartholomew asked he knew that only a Saint Claire could fulfill this mission but he thought they still had time for proper preparation
"We have a mission!" Victoria sounding so brave.Sometimes the worst of situations can brings out the best in someone.
"As you wish, God be with you" Bartholomew hurried back to the mansion he rushed to hand over the letter to his mistress, Eve
The children were telling the truth…." Eve muttered "May Hod be with you" she felt conflicted leaving all her children to runaway, but she deemed it best to let the children grow
