The door to the room opened as his mother rushed in. She had just sent a worried and crying Lili away for a while to play and was on her way back to the room. Hearing the cry of her son, she rushed in the room and seeing the infant looking at her, she burst into tears as she hugged him.

She grabbed the right hand very carefully, as she uncovered the wrapped cloth, revealing a jade like arm which was without a flaw, much less an injury where even bones could be seen.

Her heartbeat accelerated as her mouth was opened wide to fit an egg in. Her eyes widened as disbelief was written all across her face. Her hands holding the small porcelain like arm started shaking as she turned to look at her son, who was staring at her with his glossy eyes.
