When I woke up, the other side of the bed was empty. I stretched out my hand and it was already cold. The person on the other side had obviously been awake for a while. I washed my face and went out to look for people in the living room.
The house was a bit quiet and there was no sign of the others anywhere.
I only heard some faint sounds coming from the kitchen while looking around and went there.
I walked over curiously and saw Wang Muchen cooking with a yellow apron around his waist. I leaned against the doorway and watched him silently with a smile on my lips but he must have noticed something because he immediately turned around sharply but when he saw who it was, his eyes softened.
"You're awake."
"Yeah"
I went towards him and gave him a kiss
"Where are the others?"
He snaked an arm around my waist and gave me a deeper kiss, only moving away when my breathing became heavy.
