I was woken up by the incessant ringing of my phone and my eyes opened a crack helping my locate the device.
I clicked on the answer button and sister Mei's voice came from across.
"Good morning boss."
"Yeah"
"Boss are you at home?"
"I am. What's wrong?"
"The thing is, he new assistant went to your house and she just called me saying she had been knocking for a long time but didn't get any response."
I sat up slowly in bed and rubbed my eyes.
"I'm not at my apartment. I went to the old house yesterday. Tell her I'll be right over."
I hung up the phone and got out of bed heading straight to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face then changed into casual clothes and rushed out.
