10- Even in Heaven, I found Heaven!
So far!
After finishing their sword training, everyone proceeded to the horse training ground. Amara, after two days of struggle, finally tamed a horse and named it Kayal.
Now!
When something appeared to be flying over them, her friends looked up and were stunned.
"Amara..." they muttered in disbelief.
(Yes, it was Amara flying high on her horse! 🥰)
"Hey, how's my look? Come on, it's so fun up here!" Amara said enthusiastically, still flying on Kayal.
"Amara! Hold on, we're coming too!" her friends shouted as they began flying on their horses.
They spent the entire day happily flying around on their horses.
---
The next day!
At the sword training ground!
"Amara! Are you ready?" Nithra asked.
"Yes, I'm ready, Master," Amara replied with enthusiasm.
They began sparring.
"Oh wow... Is this really my student? Excellent, Amara! You've learned how to fight really well," Nithra said, impressed with Amara's technique.
"All thanks to you, Master," Amara responded humbly while sparring.
As Nithra was about to fall after losing her grip on her sword due to Amara's attack...
"Princess..." Amara shouted, and her sisters, concerned, called out, "Sister..."
But before Nithra could fall, a strong hand caught her.
Everyone sighed in relief. When they looked up to see who caught her, they all whispered in surprise, "Prince Yathiran!"
"Prince Arunachalam!" Amara, stunned, whispered, her eyes not believing what was happening in front of her.
The man who stood there had a headband across his forehead and wore golden and diamond-encrusted jewelry around his neck. He was dressed in golden attire, exuding the grandeur of a king. This was Prince Yathiran.
"Are you okay, Princess? You didn't get hurt, did you?" Yathiran asked with concern as he helped Nithra stand.
"Yes... Thank you for your help, Prince," Nithra said, blinking her eyes open.
"What brings you here, Prince?" she asked, and without hesitation, Yathiran replied, "I came to see you."
"To see me? Why?" Nithra asked, confused.
"Do I need a reason to see you?" Yathiran said softly, meant only for Nithra's ears.
"What?!" Nithra exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, I'm telling the truth," Yathiran said with a shrug.
"Oh really? Then will you spar with me, Prince?" Nithra asked, picking up her fallen sword and tossing another one towards Yathiran.
Prince Yathiran caught the sword smoothly and skillfully.
"Sure, I'd be honored to spar with you," he said with a smile, and they both entered into combat.
Their sparring was evenly matched, which made it exciting for everyone watching.
In the end, the match concluded without a clear winner or loser.
As they looked at each other, Yathiran's eyes accidentally landed on Amara, whom he hadn't seen before.
"Who is she? I've never seen her before," he asked Nithra, curious.
"Her name is Amara. She's my sisters' friend and also my student. Isn't that right, Amara?" Nithra said with a smile.
Before Amara could answer, Rupa replied, "You said it perfectly, sister."
"Interesting," Amara mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes.
"Impressive! I've been watching your training, and if you managed to defeat my disciple, then you're truly a skilled fighter," Yathiran said, casting a side glance at Nithra while complimenting Amara.
Though Amara noticed him referring to Nithra as "my disciple," she pretended not to care and simply replied, "Thank you, Prince. But all the credit goes to my master."
"Well, it seems like you've learned how to captivate your master well," Yathiran said with a smirk.
"Better than you, maybe?" Amara shot back with the same smile.
"Hahaha!" Yathiran laughed heartily, looking at Nithra, who was momentarily flustered by his laughter but quickly composed herself.
"Alright, you all can go. Today's training is enough," Nithra said, addressing Amara and her sisters.
"Okay, we'll leave now, sister. Goodbye, Prince," Amara said as they left without disturbing Yathiran any further.
💙💙💙
On their way back!
"Amara! You trained so well today," Vaanathi praised, but Amara seemed lost in thought.
"Amara!" Santhini called, tapping her shoulder.
"What are you thinking about?" she asked.
"Oh, nothing... I was just wondering what's going on between Prince Yathiran and Princess Nithra," Amara said with a mischievous smile.
"Is that so? We've been wondering about that for quite some time," Chithrani joined in.
"Yes, especially since Prince Yathiran came today just to see her without any reason," Kannagi said with a laugh.
"Did you all notice? The prince called our sister 'my disciple'," Vaanathi added.
"How could we miss that? So what does that tell us?" Santhini teased, looking at everyone.
"It tells us that... Sir... and Madam are in love... Basically, Prince Yathiran is weaving a love net around the Princess," Amara said, laughing.
"Exactly, that's how you say it in Tamil," she added, lifting her imaginary collar.
"Well done!" Rupa applauded.
💙💙💙
Meanwhile!
"What was that 'my disciple' business?" Nithra asked Yathiran, raising her eyebrows.
"A disciple is a disciple. I didn't say anything wrong, did I?" Yathiran said, winking with a smile.
"You're always dreaming, living in a fantasy," Nithra said, glaring at him, but she couldn't hide the fact that her face had turned bright red as she walked away.
💙💙💙
As the friends walked and chatted about Nithra and Yathiran, they came to a quiet place.
"Amara! Come here and sit in a meditative posture," Santhini pointed to a spot under a tree.
Amara, acting obediently, sat down but looked confused, "Why?"
"We're going to teach you some spells starting today," Rupa said.
"Magic? Wow, I'm so excited! What's the first spell we're going to learn?" Amara asked eagerly.
"Before learning spells, you need to calm your mind and bring it under control," Kannagi said.
"So when will you teach me magic?" Amara asked, pouting cutely.
"The sooner you manage to control your mind, the sooner we'll teach you the spells," Vaanathi said kindly.
"Why do I need to control my mind?" Amara asked, genuinely curious.
"Only when you have control over your mind will the spells you use become more powerful. Otherwise, learning them won't be of any use," Santhini explained clearly.
"Oh... Okay," Amara agreed without asking any more questions. She closed her eyes and tried to meditate, but various thoughts kept appearing before her.
It took her a while to control her thoughts, and she struggled.
"Amara!" Vaanathi called gently, bringing Amara out of her meditation.
"Yes, Vaanathi?" Amara asked.
"That's enough for today. Continue this early tomorrow morning. Come on," Vaanathi said.
"Alright, shall we go to where the horses are now?" Amara asked excitedly.
"Yes, let's go," Rupa said, and the six of them went to the stables. While the others were chatting and petting their horses, Amara said, "I'm going to spend a little time alone with Kayal."
She mounted Kayal and flew off into the sky.
"Amara! Stop, where are you going? At least tell us!" Chithrani called out.
"Let her be. She'll be back soon," Vaanathi said, standing nearby. All five of them kept watching Amara fly away.
💙💙💙
Flying through the air on Kayal, Amara said, "Kayal! Do you know something? Before coming here, I never even thought about flying like this. It was rare for us to even see a regular horse.
But now, I'm flying on you, my dear Kayal, a unicorn. After I leave this place, I'm going to miss you just like I'll miss my friends."
Amara tearfully hugged Kayal, and the unicorn, feeling Amara's love, shed tears too.
"I can see you care for me as well. But why are you crying? As long as I'm here, you're my best friend, Kayal. Let's enjoy ourselves. Come on..." Amara said, wiping her tears and smiling.
Kayal nodded its head in happiness, as if to say, "Of course."
"Kayal! I want to be alone. Can you take me to a peaceful place?" Amara asked, and Kayal gently landed in a serene, beautiful, natural spot.
Seeing the place, Amara immediately liked it.
"Wow, Kayal, this place is beautiful!" she said, admiring the surroundings.
Amara got off Kayal and stood, spreading her arms wide, taking in the beauty of nature, and spun around joyfully.
Then, leaning against her calm Kayal, she said, "Kayal! I really love this place. Whenever my mind feels heavy, I'm sure if I come here, I'll feel lighter, right?"
Kayal nodded as if agreeing.
Then, Amara took a small book from her clothes and wrote, "Hi, Jennifer ma'am! It's Meera. It's been a long time since I came to heaven. I'm doing well here. There are many kind souls here to help me, so don't worry about me, ma'am."
She folded the paper, whispered a prayer, and released it into the sky. The paper fluttered beautifully in the wind as it floated upwards.
💙💙💙
On Earth, at the college!
Ever since Meera and Kaveri had entered the mystical room through their books, the two teachers regularly visited that secret room.
Today, as they were in the room, a paper floated down to their feet. Jennifer picked it up, puzzled. The paper suddenly rose into the air, and Meera's voice read out the words written on it.
Though shocked at what was happening, both teachers felt relief after hearing the message.
"Finally, I can breathe easy... She's really in heaven," said Jennifer.
"Yes, ma'am. And knowing that she's doing well and has others to help her makes me even happier," added Mr. Arunachalam with joy.
"Yes, sir. We must tell the principal about this first," Jennifer said.
"Of course. He was more worried about the children than us. Poor man," agreed Mr. Arunachalam as both of them walked toward the principal's office.
💙💙💙
In heaven!
After sending the note and trusting that it had reached their teachers, Amara said, "Let's go, Kayal. We've been here a long time."
As Amara mounted Kayal, they flew towards the sky. She didn't notice a pair of sharp eyes watching her.
With her mind now at ease, Amara returned to where her friends were, her face glowing with clarity.
"Come, Amara. How was your solo trip?" Kannagi asked with a smile.
"I found paradise even within heaven!" Amara replied joyfully.
(If she knew what surprises awaited her, would she be happy or run in fear? What kind of surprises? To find out, continue reading!)
