Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 : Moving Forward Together

After their victory in the national art competition, Inka and Rian became more well-known in their community. They received more orders for paintings and photography, which helped improve Inka's family's financial situation. However, new challenges awaited them as their popularity increased.

One morning, Inka and Rian received an invitation to attend an awards event in the capital city. This event was a great opportunity for them to expand their network and learn from renowned artists. However, Inka felt anxious about leaving her grandfather, who was still recovering.

"You have to go, Inka. This is a big opportunity for you," said Bagyo in a soft but firm voice. "I'll be fine. The neighbors will help take care of me."

Inka knew her grandfather was right, but her heart was still filled with worry. "I don't want to leave you, Grandpa," she said quietly.

Bagyo smiled, patting Inka's hand. "You need to chase your dreams, dear. I'll always be here for you."

With a heavy heart, Inka and Rian decided to go to the capital city. They left with enthusiasm, carrying their hopes and dreams. Upon arriving, they were captivated by the city's bright lights and the bustling awards event.

At the event, Inka and Rian met many famous artists and photographers. They learned many new things and were inspired by the displayed works. One of the artists they met was Mr. Arif, a senior painter whose work was renowned throughout the country.

"You both have incredible talent," said Mr. Arif after seeing their work. "Keep working hard and never stop learning."

The meeting with Mr. Arif gave Inka and Rian renewed motivation. They returned to the village with new ideas and a stronger determination to develop their talents. However, when they arrived home, they were met with shocking news.

"Your grandfather is in the hospital, Inka," said a neighbor with a worried face. "His condition worsened a few days ago."

Inka felt her world crumble. She immediately ran to the hospital with Rian by her side. There, they found Bagyo lying weakly in bed, surrounded by medical equipment. The doctor told them that Bagyo needed more intensive care and had to stay in the hospital for a while.

"Don't worry, Inka," Bagyo said softly when he saw his granddaughter arrive. "You've done your best. I'm proud of you."

Inka felt devastated, but she knew her grandfather needed her support now more than ever. Together with Rian, she arranged to continue working while taking care of her grandfather. They divided their time between making art, school, and spending time at the hospital.

Days passed quickly. Although exhausted, Inka and Rian never gave up. They continued to create beautiful works and gained more recognition. Community support also grew stronger, with many people helping to take care of Bagyo and providing financial assistance.

One night, while Inka was sitting by her grandfather's bed, Bagyo gently held Inka's hand.

"Inka, you are my source of pride. Keep chasing your dreams and never give up," Bagyo said with teary eyes. "You have incredible strength."

Inka nodded, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I will keep fighting, Grandpa. For you."

With support from Rian and the community, Inka kept moving forward. They faced every challenge with unwavering courage and spirit. Although the path they walked was not always easy, they knew that together, they could overcome anything.

Several months later, Bagyo finally recovered and could return home. His health was still fragile, but he felt better with each passing day. Inka and Rian were relieved and happy to see their grandfather's smile return.

With renewed enthusiasm, they continued their journey in the art world. They opened a small studio in the village, where they taught art and photography to children and teenagers. The studio became a gathering place for young artists, a space for creativity and sharing inspiration.

Inka and Rian realized that their dreams were not just about achieving personal success but also about making a positive impact on others. With every painting and photo they produced, they brought hope and happiness to many people.

And under the vast sky, with support from Grandpa Bagyo and each other, they stepped forward together towards a future full of hope, possibilities, and beauty.
