Chapter 39 - Learning To Stop Her Whining.

'I usually just go to sleep as soon as I get put into my Pokeball, but I just realized that being in a Pokeball sucks! No wonder Pikachu hated it in here! It's just a void space, I mean there is some stuff in here but its more aesthetically pleasing then anything else.'

After some closer inspection a void isn't the correct way to describe this space. I can see a ghastly fog with a dark and sickly looking ground. If there was distance in this place then it would be considered far away. The fog continues to "travel" nearly reaching me although it loses all sense before it can get within 10 feet of me.

'I hadn't noticed this before? I don't think this was in my original normal Pokeball but Amelia did get me a Great Ball Dusk Ball combination for our 4 month? 3 month? anniversary.' Trying to move I can't really move in any direction while I think can stretch myself as far as I want I stop probably due to something psychological.

'A mental block...There's so much to study in this world. While I wasn't a scientist in my past life I did go to college and while I didn't end up going through eith the doctor plan step up by my dad I did try for a year! Though I have a feeling a enginering degree would've been more useful..'

Shrugging my invisible not totally there shoulders I start to do what I do best in a Pokeball. Dozing off with a no mouthed yawn I close my "eyes" and try something new. Sending out a shroud and casting a full illusion on it I change it into a alarm clock and set it to 45 minutes from now.

'Hopefully using this I can keep my sense of time. I've only been in here for 10-15 minutes I think so by the time I wake up it should be around 3PM. If this works it could change everything....I don't know what I'd change but it'll show that my illusions can directly make sound and fulfill complex things without my direct influence.'

Thinking that I've talk- Or I suppose thought for too long I fully relax and let myself be carried away slightly comforted by the foggy ghastly environment not too far away.

'I'm never sleeping in a Pokeball again.' Stretching out my reformed body I look at Amelia as they look around for a place to go for a late lunch.

'Good thing is that the alarm clock did wake me up. It didn't make a noise like which I suppose I should've expected but maybe it'll work outside of the Pokeball? I mean are Pokeballs sound proof? Plus its a alarm clock in simple terms if I was the shroud I'd just wake me up instead of going through the trouble of making a noise to do the same job.'

Going through my thoughts Amelia becomes inpressingly hunger and of course its going to be my problem as the only on with a sense of direction. "Kage!!! I'm Hungry!"

'Whining like a child isn't going to help us!' "Vee!" retorting back angrily Amelia chose this time to be uncertain on what I say and choses to continue whining. "Your the only one who can read these maps! Please help me!"

'For one I can't even read this language, and two it isn't that hard of a map there's literally a fork and knife symbol indicating what's a restaurant!' "Eevee! Vee Eev Vee!" Chewing her out in the middle of the road gets both of us some weird looks as a rare Eevee is seen shouting at their trainer as they have tears in their eyes and talk about reading a map.

'You know what fuck it. I'm about to learn this language in 10 minutes or less.' Holding out my paws I motion towards her pockets and the map. "What?...My phone?" Nodding at her she hands me her phone without a fuss apon seeing that I also grab the map from her hands.

Opening her phone after getting her to unlock it I type into Gurunet which looks to be this version of Google. As I open it a keyboard pops up with unfamiliar characters. 'So taking into account how my world's previous keyboards were layed out then this above the up arrow must be a.'

Opening the make and looking at the hotel we previously stayed at I cross refrence that symbol and look for that letter in the name finding that the second letter is exactly the same.

Over the course of 5 or so minutes I translate the name of the hotel and the entirety of the keyboard. 'The hotel we stayed at is called Daydream Hotel, and we went to Furret Cafe for breakfast. Interesting there's a couple unique symbols but their not in the descriptions, only the name so I can assume that their only for pronunciation. Which gives me another question how the hell did everyone hear me when they all found out?'

Not wanting to get too deep into everything I start my exercises and start translating random words as I have Amelia follow me to the nearest diner. Which was only 3 blocks away.
