Fear.
This is the feeling Grafiya was having right now as she stared at the man name Arthur Pendragon.
Someone who is able to withstand her aura and stand like her aura was nothing and is to fast for even her, he is even able to kill a Mid-class fallen angel with one strike, and to top it off he is a human, someone like this was definitely a big shot but Grafiya was also confused, why have no one heard of him, clearly he should be known by some devil's, fallen angels and angels who will try to recruit him but yet she has not really heard of him before.
'Who is he?' Grafiya thought.
"Hey are you alright?" Arthur asked as he stared at Grafiya.
(A/N: I will be using Arthur now instead of Hoshinoko)
"..." But instead of answering him Grafiya still had a poker face look.
'What is with that look.....wait is it because of my aura?' Arthur thought as he noticed how dense the atmosphere was, it wasn't affecting him but he was sure that it wasn't the same for Grafiya, closing his eyes Arthur immediately stopped his aura from seeping out of his body.
'Why does the air suddenly feel lighter?' Grafiya thought as she looked at Arthur and immediately recognized something, ' His aura is no longer seeping out of his body?'.
"Hey I come in pe-
"Lady Grafiya!!!"
Arthur was interrupted as numerous Mid-class devil's with spears came rushing towards were they where.
While Arthur raised an eyebrow, Grafiya frowned.
"You!!!, get away from Lady Grafiya except you want to die!!" A bulky man stood at the front of the group of Mid-class devil's, (he had a brown beard and was wearing a black armour with the crest of the Lucifuge at his chest, he was also holding the biggest spear among all of them) after hearing the man statement the other devil's also nodded in agreement.

Chapter 2: Fear

'W-what are they doing do they want to die?!' Grafiya screamed in her mind as she stared at the group of Mid-class devil's.
"I see..." Arthur said as he walked towards the group of devil's his hand touched the hilt of his sword ready to draw it.
'Let's see how strong I really am' Arthur thought as he finally stopped just ten metres away from the group of devil's ready to strike.
"Wait!!"
"Huh?"
Before Arthur could make a move Grafiya was already at his front in between he and the Lucifuge devil's.
"They is no need to fight sir Arthur!" Grafiya said as she stared at Arthur ready to protect her people if it come to it.
"Why?, they clearly provoked me first, no?" Arthur said as he stared at Grafiya.
"I'm sorry sir Arthur for their ignorance...and I apologise for their behalf" Grafiya said as she bowed her head.
"L-lady Grafiya what are you doing?!" The bulky man said as he stared at Grafiya with shock not only he but all the other Lucifuge devil's present where shocked to see Grafiya bow her head.
Who was Grafiya for them?.
She was a strong devil with great combat prowess and battle abilities so seeing Grafiya bowing their head they all had one question.
'Is this the Grafiya we know?'
'Ah, I shouldn't antagonize Grafiya after all among all the characters in highschool DxD it is both Grafiya and Serafall I like!!' Arthur thought.
"Well, stand up I was just joking!" Arthur said with a smile as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"Eh?!" (Grafiya and the Lucifuge devil's)
" I didn't plan on killing them but just to test my power" Arthur said with a shrug.
"Test your power huh...." Grafiya muttered.
"Well beside I can't hurt the people dear to those who I like" Arthur said with a smile.
"L-like??!!!" (Lucifuge devil's)
While the Lucifuge devil's looked shocked Grafiya just stared at Arthur with a blank face.
"Oh yeah I forgot...." Arthur steeped forward and stretched his hand prompting for a handshake, " I will love to form a contract with the devil's".
"...."

Chapter 2: Forming Contracts with the devil

In the vast expanse of the war zone in a deserted territory of the devil factions, a group of Lucifuge devil's stood watching the confrontation between Grafiya and the human, the Lucifuge devil's where left shocked to the brim, how won't they, the one know as the ice Queen/Goddess was know signing a contract with a human.
'I hope doing this will benefit the devil's' Grafiya thought as she shook her hand with Arthur symbolising the end of the contracts.
The contract that Arthur and Grafiya agreed on state the following:
1. Arthur will protect the Lucifuge clan with his life and in exchange the Lucifuge clan will give Arthur a roof over his head.
2. Arthur will fight in the faction war beside Grafiya and in exchange the Lucifuge clan will give him resources.
This contract though short still cover a lot of things regarding both Arthur and Grafiya goals.
Arthur wanted to stay close to Grafiya and also get accomostated to his new powers, while on the other hand Grafiya wanted Arthur to protect she and her family, and this handshake was just an advance contract they will sign the real one when Grafiya take Arthur to her house which Arthur can't wait for.
'I just hope I'm doing the right thing for the devil race' ( Grafiya)
