"Heyyyy, Fujino. Glad to see you're still alive!" The cheerful, high-pitched voice of Xeno caught his ear while he was enjoying his breakfast of wild mushrooms, Japanese horse-chestnut (Tochi no Ki), and a cold cup of water.
"What do you want?" he responded tersely, eager to wrap up the conversation so he could enjoy his meal in peace.
"Aww, why the cold shoulder? I thought we were frieeeends," Fujino sighed. "I can barely tolerate you."
"So We're practically best buddies!" He crushed the mushroom in his grip. "Anyways, i'm here to congratulate you. Not everyone faces a demon on their first week and live to tell the tale. So, well done!"
Fujino had never received so much praise in his life, and hearing it from anyone, even like Xeno, made him smile.
"Thanks. I'll kick your ass if I see you though." He stored the leaf cup in his Inventory.
If there was one thing Fujino appreciated, it was his regeneration ability. It not only saved his life yesterday when he knew he couldn't treat his injuries but also healed his body completely, even erasing scars.
"So, what's the game plan? Are you heading out to hunt, or are you going to work on that campsite of yours?" Xeno asked.
Fujino wanted to brush him off, he really did, but he knew that would be pointless since Xeno would just keep bothering him until he replied.
"No, I'm going hunting. A level 6 demon nearly killed me l yesterday, so I need to level up to gain some AP to get stronger," Fujino replied.
"And I need to shower," he added, despising how he smelled.
"Hmm, if increasing your stats is your goal, you might want to consider training your body. It's actually more effective than just grinding for XP." This caught Fujino's full attention.
"Wait, I can train myself?" Fujino face-palmed, realizing how stupid that sounded as soon as he said it. 'Of course you can get stronger through training, dumbass. What were you thinking?'
"Yep, doing physical exercises and pushing yourself will definitely help. You might earn some XP from it too!" Fujino could sense a "but" coming. "But, be careful not to hurt yourself, as that would set you back temporarily."
Fujino nodded; what he said made perfect sense.
"Now remember, only your physical stats will improve through training. You can boost your INT by doing mental exercises like reading or solving puzzles. For CHR, just focus on your physical appearance and socializing with others."
Now that was the kind of assistant he appreciated—one who offered helpful advice instead of teasing him for fun.
"Not that you know anything about socializing. Your body count speaks volume, tehe~"
Fujino promised pain once he laid his fingers on him.

I had some important info I wanted to mention about the system but I couldn't squeeze it into other chapters, so I made this one. There will be other Omake's in the future, but they would be more comedic light-hearted in nature, so stay tuned for them.
